The Tennessee Golf Foundation is proud to present the 1st annual Tri-Cities Four-Ball golf tournament at Pine Oaks Golf Course on May 6-7.   The Tennessee Golf Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3); all profits benefit junior golf in the Tri-Cities.

Eligibility:  This event is open to all players, but you must register as a team (2 players).  Teams can be composed of any combination of amateurs (male-male, male-female, female-female).

Format: The format is 36 holes of four-ball gross stroke play.  Both players will play their own ball and record the lowest score on each hole.  After the first round, teams will be divided into flights based on scores.  The number of teams will determine the number of flights.  Players under the age of 50 will play the gold tees, players between the ages of 50-61 will play the blue tees, and players over the age of 62 will play the white tees.  All females will play the silver tees.  A “sandbagger rule” will be in place for a max improvement on the second round.

Schedule:

  • May 5th – Practice rounds will be available for $25. All players must schedule their tee time with the golf shop.  Players are encouraged to make a tee time early, as spots may be limited.
  • May 6th – Round 1 shotgun will start at 10:00 am. Range balls will be provided.
  • May 7th – Round 2 shotgun will start at 10:00 am. Range balls will be provided.
