Tri-Cities Amateur Tour
Created to determine the top players in the area through a Point System. Players earn points for participating in local Invitational tournaments and state events. The players with the most points will be seleted to compete vs the PGA team in the Tri-Cities Cup Matches at the end of the year.
How to Earn Points
Invitationals
Tillinghast, Link Hills, East TN Amateur, Lonesome Pine, Ridgefields
1st-10th: 50, 35, 30, 25, 20, 18, 16, 15, 14, 13 points
Rest of Field: 3 points

Championship Division: 1st (50), 2nd (35), 3rd (25), 4th (20), rest of field (10)

State Open, State Amateur, Mid-Amateur
1st-20th: 100, 60, 48, 46, 44, 42, 40, 38, 36, 34, 32, 30, 28, 26, 24, 22, 20, 18, 16, 15 – 10 (making the cut)
Four-Ball
Winners – 50 points, Runners Up – 35 points, Semis – 25 points, Quarters – 20 points, Rd of 16 – 15 points, Rest of Field – 5 points

each winning match)
Ten Amateur players (6 Regular Division and 4 Senior Division) will be selected for the 2025 Tri-Cities Cup Match Team. The 10 Amateurs and 10 Professionals will face off in a one-day, 27-hole, Ryder Cup format on October 22nd at Johnson City Country Club. The amateur selections will be based off of the points standings and two captain picks.
